National Fashion College has a strict pre-requisite policy that all Expert Educators have a minimum of 10+ years fashion industry experience.

His expertise has earned him recognition as the first person in education to be invited as a special guest at Australian Fashion Week.     MFPR Agency Director Matt Jordan has over 26 years of experience working in the fashion industry. His experience covers every aspect of the industry, including retail, buying, product development, marketing, public relations, creative direction, art direction, publishing, content creation and more. In every aspect of your studies, Matt will bring direct, hands-on experience that he will share with you.

    Over the past fifteen years, MFPR has conceptualised and executed an enviable list of game-changing, world-first communication campaigns, including the first-ever shop-the-runway campaign at Australian Fashion Week in 2011, the world’s first strategic content partnership between Tourism NT and fashion label, Bless’d Are The Meek and many other activations.

    MFPR offers clients a broad cross-section of services, including strategic social media management, celebrity endorsement, sponsorship and corporate alignment strategies, creative direction, event management and many more. As a boutique agency, MFPR are adaptive and agile, making our work responsive to the fluidity of market changes.

    Through MFPR’s vast network of corporate contacts, MFPR has negotiated partnerships that have financially contributed to supporting the work of FNFD and the designers they align with. We have been instrumental in building on the success of the 2021 AAFW show by continuing to elevate blak voices and creators and maintaining media interest in FNFD.

    Nicole boasts a comprehensive expertise that spans across various facets of the fashion industry. Renowned for her roles as Fashion Director and Fashion Editor at esteemed Australian magazines such as COSMOPOLITAN, CLEO, GRAZIA, ELLE, DOLLY, and WOMEN’S HEALTH, she currently holds the prestigious position of Head of Style at Australia’s premier online fashion destination, THE ICONIC. Nicole serves as the creative force behind the captivating images gracing your inbox or social media feed.

    Throughout her illustrious fashion career, Nicole has taken the helm in directing and producing both local and international fashion shoots, orchestrating fashion week runways, styling TV commercials, and collaborating with prominent Australian and international celebrities for magazine covers. Her expertise extends to providing insightful commentary on fashion through online platforms, TV appearances, and podcasts.

    Beyond styling, Nicole excels in producing compelling social media shoots for brands.     Bianca Beers is an artist, designer, and creator and industry leader from Western Sydney specialising in creative direction, retail management and digital illustration.

    Bianca has gained strong momentum and a dedicated following, with her first solo exhibit supported by Microsoft in 2019, whilst catching the attention of major on-going clients such as Nike, YSL, Glue Store, The Iconic, Adobe, Sony and Puma.

    A buoyant amalgamation of fashion, botanicals, graffiti and portraiture, Bianca’s work aims to create community & uplift others by bringing colour, joy & meaning to the spaces she and her works occupy.

    For Bianca, authenticity and representation are important. Through her projects, campaigns, photoshoots, interviews and discourse with her community, Bianca aims to tear down the narrow views of beauty and success while empowering her community, young women especially, to acknowledge and embrace their natural gifts and talents.

    Working in cities from Los Angeles to Singapore and all over Australia, Dr Wes Tan is a creative director and content creator with extensive experience across the fashion, hospitality, lifestyle, and wedding industries.

    An accidental creative, he specialises in digital content and online marketing strategy for international and domestic clients ranging from Cupshe to Dan Murphys and Tarocash.

    With a doctorate in psychology, he's passionate about helping people realise their creative potential as a lifestyle, not just a profession.

In just five years, she has propelled LMS to remarkable heights, establishing it as a well-recognised name in the industry.

    Lisa's entrepreneurial journey has been marked by exciting collaborations with renowned figures such as Nadia Fairfax, Romance Was Born, Pared Eyewear, and By Johnny. Notably, her strategic partnerships have extended to international platforms, where she has expertly positioned LMS on the feet of celebrities like Bella Hadid, Emma Roberts, and Whitney Port, thanks to collaborations with top-tier PR professionals.

    At the helm of LMS, Lisa is a powerhouse, driving the brand's success through her multifaceted roles in Design, Manufacturing, Operations, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, and the day-to-day business operations.     Emma’s editorial eye spans both an Australian and international landscape, collected on staff as Fashion Editor across RUSSH, Grazia, ELLE Australia and L'Officiel Australia and most recently Fashion Editor-At-Large at Order Magazine, working closely with Editor-In-Chief Zoe Davidson across ideation and DNA of the brand.

    Emma is also the style-mind behind projects for some of fashion's most revered brands, including Hermes, Tiffany & Co, Westfield, Crown Hotels, L’Oreal, IMG, David Jones and more.

    More than a stylist, Emma’s multi-faceted approach to consulting applies her vision and knowledge of brand identity, regularly working hand-in-hand with clients to create a unique voice within the marketplace across visuals, design and copy.

WEEKLY NETWORKING EVENTS 

Each week, National Fashion College hosts a networking event, allowing our students the opportunity to meet some of the most renowned individuals in the industry. Our Director hosts an intimate Q&A session that delves into the success, journey and experiences of some of the industry’s most prolific figures. At the conclusion of each session, students have the chance to meet our special guests. Both on-campus & online students are invited to take part in our weekly guest speaker sessions, and these can be streamed virtually for online students.
