Only halfway through my studies and I wouldn’t even of dreamt the things I’ve achieved so far and that have come my way from the help of National Fashion College

From the moment I stepped into the college I knew this place was something special, The experiences that NFC provides for us gets the ball rolling for a fun and unexpected journey ahead and that’s exactly what has happened.

Learning all things fashion I found myself falling madly in love with styling, being on set and all that comes with it, being able to put your own creative twist on things and when the final product comes alive you definitely have a “pinch me” moment having been apart of the process.

I have been lucky enough to assist on many shoots, runways and events and to name a few - Spec Savers Campaign Launch, Hoblet Summer Lunch, Romance Was Born Runway Show, Iconic Runway show, National Geographic shoot, Nadia Jewellery Website Launch and Domain Pride Event. Through these amazing opportunities I’ve met so many people along the way being able to learn from them and get such a insight, gain something new for my personal journey and each time it’s a different experience and that’s what’s the most exciting.

Being able to have exposure to internships is also another fantastic avenue NFC provides for us. Giving us a 360 view on all aspects of the fashion industry from marketing, graphic design, buying, visual merchandising and you can really get a grasp of the industry and what area you gravitate towards. I have been fortunate enough to secure 3 internships so far with Vogue Australia in their styling room, Aje for their PR team and Images That Sell as a styling assistant, which I’m so grateful for and working on the floor for each of these companies being in the day to day action and seeing first-hand how it all works makes me excited for my future.

I couldn’t ask for a better place to study. Bryce honestly welcomes each and every one of us for who we are, guiding us to make our dreams become a reality. Can’t wait for the next half of the year, if it’s anything like the first I’m most certainly ready and have my styling kit stocked up. 🫶🏻
